The EP-100 is extremely versatile, printing addresses, return addresses, postal barcodes, logos, signatures, postal indicia and more. It prints onto materials ranging from postcards to large flat items such as brochures and newsletters up to .04" (1mm) thick. Minimum material size is 3.5" long x 3.5" wide and maximum material size is 12.5" long x 9.5" wide.

Address printers of this type have traditionally been used in large company mailrooms or in service bureaus. However, the low cost and versatility of the EP-100 make it practical in small- to medium-sized office environments as well. Also, because the printer is easily connected to any PC parallel port or office network (requires a third-party print server), it can be used for everyday envelope address printing from anywhere in the office.

Sending address data to the EP-100 to PCs is simple due to the Windows 95/98/NT print driver software which is included with every unit. Virtually any Windows-based software can be used to format and print addresses, including most dedicated mailing programs which verify and sort mail according to USPS postal regulations.

A low-cost mailing program called Envelope Manager is optionally available for use with the EP-100. It utilizes the Internet to verify addresses, correct common errors and add 9-digit zip codes and postal bar codes. This type of software can save money quickly due to postal discounts and by reducing undeliverable mail, especially as the quantity of mail pieces addressed increases.

Two types of black ink are utilized in the unit: dye-based for fast drying on gloss stocks and pigment-based for waterproof printing on plain papers. Color printing capability is also included to add extra "splash" to mailings.

A large in-feed hopper allows the unit to be loaded with up to 250 envelopes or 500 postcards at a time. An optional 24" conveyor/stacker is available. The conveyor prevents ink smudging by adding extra drying time when printing onto glossy paper stocks. Mail pieces drop neatly into a large output hopper, making pre-sorts and stacking a simple operation.

Shippers now have the flexibility to have all transportation charges billed to either a consignee or a third party. Since full package level detail is provided electronically, the UPS Delivery Service Bill is more complete, which helps accounting departments reduce invoice reconciliation efforts.

Delivery Confirmation: Neopost FriendShip® software receives Certification by the United States Postal Service to support electronic processing of Delivery Confirmation.

Every parcel which your company sends out is important. Frequently, it is important to know the delivery status of what you send. Now the United States Postal Service makes this easy and affordable with their new parcel Delivery Confirmation service. Each parcel processed with the USPS is identified with a unique identification number which is bar coded within a special compliant shipping/mailing label. Using a new dedicated USPS package tracking system the parcel's status is recorded at the time of delivery as to being delivered, attempted delivered, forwarded, or returned. All this information is accessible within 24-72 hours from USPS through the Internet, telephone, or via electronic file transfer.

Delivery Confirmation is a value enhancement service offered on Priority Mail™ and Standard Mail B. Standard Mail B includes Parcel Select, Parcel Post, Bound Printed Matter, Special Standard Mail, and Library Mail.] Delivery Confirmation comes in two options: "Electronic Service" and "Retail Service". With both options in addition to status you receive detailed information about the parcel including the date, time, and ZIP Code of delivery. The Delivery Confirmation service is priced individually based on the class of mail and the service option. Fees vary from No Charge to $.60 per piece. Other special services such as insured mail, registered mail, collect on delivery (COD), and special handling may be combined with Delivery Confirmation.

The "Electronic Service" Delivery Confirmation option is offered at No Charge as long as mailers process their parcels via a "USPS Certified Delivery Confirmation" software such as our Neopost FriendShip® 600 Series. The software transmits an end-of-day electronic manifest file containing package level detail (PLD) information to the USPS host computer. Delivery information about the package may be obtained by either downloading the entire file automatically with the software or making individual inquires via the USPS web site or 800# telephone access line.

The "Retail Service" Delivery Confirmation option allows the mailer to either print their own bar coded compliant labels or use pre-printed labels provided by the USPS. Record the PLD package information manually, add the appropriate fee to the parcel postage, and then deliver the package to your local Post Office to be scanned into the USPS host computer system.

Using the Delivery Confirmation service now allows shippers/mailers to have the peace of mind you expect from commercial carriers with the huge per piece cost savings of the USPS. Plus, you can get the added savings of FREE packaging for qualified Priority Mail™ users or "Work Sharing" bulk discounts for higher volume shippers. Our FriendShip® software is also MAC Certified for mail manifesting. So whether you are a shipper or mailer; metering or manifesting your mail; supervisor or manager; the Delivery Confirmation service from the USPS offers another tool to maximize the productivity in your mailing/shipping operation.

The VersaMailer comes complete with a state of the art LCD control panel along with programmable job and fold settings. The VersaMailer is so easy to use,it eliminates the need for dedicated operators. This system can quickly handle wide range of applications such as: regular invoice and statement mailings, payroll and accounts payable checks and much more. Designed for those customers processing up to 60,000 pieces per month, the Advanced Mailer can be interfaced to a burster, up to 2 mail machines and an Optical Mark reader. It is also expandable from 1 to 4 stations.

EZ Mailer II: The EZ Mailer II is the ultimate low-to-mid volume table-top folder inserter.
